At home rapid COVID diagnostic tests are available to anyone who wants them. 

The at home tests can help determine if you have COVID so you can steer clear of others and reduce spread.

Team members who have insurance coverage through the Carle Employee Health Plan have the opportunity to be reimbursed up to $12 per test, up to a maximum of eight tests per month. 

Below are the options available to receive reimbursement: 

• At any Wal-Mart location, take the at home test to the Pharmacy counter and show your Health Alliance Health Insurance ID Card.  Up to $12 per test will be billed directly to Health Alliance. 
• Pre-order tests on-line through Health Alliance's website  
  • Log into your hally.com account
  • Click Plan & Benefits at the top
  • Click 'Compare prices, find a pharmacy, look up drugs and more' under the Pharmacy Benefits section. 
  • Log into your Optum Rx website; or create an account if you don't have one
  • Select 'Get at home Covid-19 tests with $0 copay'
  • Add up to eight single $0 at home Covid-19 tests or four two-packs to your cart
  • Check out as a guest or create an Optum Store account
• At home tests purchased at other retailers can be reimbursed by submitting a COVID At Home Test Reimbursement Form.pdf to Health Alliance. 

For team members not enrolled in the Carle Employee Health Plan have the following options available for free at home COVID tests.  

1. Sign up at covidtest.gov to get a up to four free tests shipped directly to their home from the federal government.
2. Those covered by Medicare or Medicaid can get the test through the covidtest.gov site or at a local health clinic. 
3. Those with health insurance through an insurance carrier other than Health Alliance should refer to that carriers website for information on ordering free at home Covid-19 tests
